Spanish alphabet shrinks
More than 300 million Spanish speakers around the world woke up yesterday to find two fewer letters in their alphabet, AP reports from Madrid. The Association of Spanish Language Academies voted on Wednesday to eliminate two phonemes - the 'Ch' and 'Ll' - from the Spanish alphabet.
