Tajik PM quits
Tajikistan's Prime Minister, Abdumalik Abdulajanov, under pressure over the former Soviet republic's growing economic problems, has resigned, Reuter reports from Moscow. Itar-Tass news agency cited 'reliable sources' as saying Mr Abdulajanov had been appointed acting ambassador to Russia.
