Thou shalt steal

It's OK to steal if you are poor and desperate, according to the Reverend Brian Turner, a Methodist clergyman dubbed the 'Robin Hood' preacher, AP reports from Wellington.

'If the process of a society robs people of that and they've tried every other means to meet these needs . . . then there is some moral justification for stealing,' he said. His comments were criticised by New Zealand police and the government.
