Thousands flee Russian onslaught
Moscow - Thousands of people were reported to be fleeing their homes after Russian forces attacked rebel positions in the foothills of Chechnya. Tass said crowds of people mobbed Moscow's administration in Grozny, demanding safe corridors to let women and children out of mountain villages. Reuter
