Treason charge

Germany's Federal Prosecutor said the head of former East Germany's military espionage service had been charged with treason, Reuter reports from Karlsruhe. The prosecutor said the 63-year-old former lieutenant-general of the East German army, named as Alfred K, was accused of passing sensitive information to Moscow.
