Trial set for British Nanny
The trial of a British au pair accused of killing the baby in her care was set for 6 October yesterday, when lawyers for the defence and prosecution appeared before Judge Hiller B. Zobel at Middlesex Superior Court, in Massachusetts.
Louise Woodward, 19, is charged with first-degree murder over the death of Matthew Eappen, aged nine months, on 9 February . If convicted, she faces life in prison without parole. AP - Cambridge
