Turkish authorities and Western diplomats were hunting yesterday for three tourists whom Kurdish rebels said they had kidnapped in eastern Turkey, Reuter reports from Ankara.

The German-based Kurd-Ha news agency reported on Sunday that guerrillas from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) had seized two Germans and a New Zealander in the Kars-Agri region near the Armenian and Iranian borders.
