Unicef hails health care
Improved health care in the world's poor countries has saved the lives of millions of young children in recent years, the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) said in its annual report yesterday, Reuter reports from Brussels. 'Some of the successes . . . are as spectacular in their human impact as the disasters, wars and famines,' it said .
