US holds Kurd on passport fraud charge
Washington - The head of the American Kurdish Information Office was charged with passport fraud after an investigation indicated he had assumed the identity of a man killed in a car crash25 years ago. US authorities said Kani Xulam is thought to be a leader of the extremist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). Reuter
