Yemen fighting dies down

Fighting between northern and southern troops abated as Arab mediators worked to save the country from civil war, AP reports from Sana. Members of the northern General Peoples Congress, led by President Ali Abdullah Saleh, said there was relative calm in southern Abyan province.
