In the Garden Update: Garden robbery

THE entire national collection of Pseudopanax, unusual and tender evergreen trees with huge hanging leaves, has been stolen from the Ventnor Botanic Garden on the Isle of Wight. This was the only collection in the country and had been put together in the past six years by the curator, Simon Goodenough. They are unusual enough trees to attract attention, wherever they may be. Any information will be welcomed by the curator on 0983 855397.
