Design site Core 77 reports that a "nearly complete" collection of Industrial Design Magazine (400 isssues) is being auctioned off on eBay.

The description reads: "[...] a nearly complete set of INDUSTRIAL DESIGN MAGAZINES from Feb. 1954 through Oct. 2009. There are only 16 issues missing (out of 448).

"INDUSTRIAL DESIGN MAGAZINE is simply the most comprehensive, detailed, and complete reference resource for post-war modern design ever published. Tons of articles, photos, and even advertising that document design history as it was made by such greats as Eames, George Nelson, Knoll, Herman Miller, Alvar Aalto, Donald Deskey, Henry Dreyfuss, Alexander Girard, Arne Jacobsen, Peter Hvidt, Philip Johnson, Finn Juhl, Le Corbusier, Raymond Loewy, Alvin Lustig, Paul McCobb, Mies van der Rohe, Nakashima, Neutra, Gio Ponti, Jens Risom, Edward Wormley, Schultz, Wendell Castle, Paul Evans, Bertoia, Hans Wegner, Verner Panton, Saarinen, Vladimir Kagan, Joe Colombo, etc., etc., etc. - and as the years went by, the list just grows. It's all there!"

Here is the direct link for the auction, which ends February 12: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250576017508
