Liz McColgan, Scotland's former 10,000 metres world champion, was the third woman home in yesterday's Lisbon half-marathon. McColgan, who is in training for the London Marathon on 2 April, finished in 1hr 9min 49sec, 1min 28sec behind the winner, Tegla Leroupe, whose Kenyan compatriot, Simon Lopuyet, won the men's event in 1:00:26.
