Aravinda de Silva hit an unbeaten century, his sixth in one-day cricket, to steer Sri Lanka to a comfortable six-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the Singer World Series in Colombo yesterday. The win ensured the World Cup winners finished top of the league standings in the four-nation limited- overs tournament, with a maximum six points from three wins, and qualified for Saturday's final.

SINGER WORLD SERIES (Colombo): Zimbabwe 227 for 5 (C Evans 96no, A Campbell 54); Sri Lanka 228 for 4 ( A De Silva 127no). Sri Lanka won by six wickets.
