Pakistan suffered the embarrassment of a second successive defeat by a South African provincial side when they were given a 232-run thrashing by Natal in Durban yesterday. The tourists, who lost heavily to Western Province last week, began the fi nal fourth day on 81 for three and never threatened to reach their daunting 492-run victory target. The Indian Test bowler Javagal Srinath has been offered terms by Gloucestershire to replace their captain, Courtney Walsh, as their overseas player for 19

95. Walsh will be on tour duty in England with the West Indies.
