PAUL PRICHARD'S fine run of form for Essex continued against Gloucestershire. Standing in as captain, his 119 off 174 deliveries was his third century of the season and he shared a stand of 192 with Jonathan Lewis, who went to score a century of his own.

Greg Mike's career-best 5 for 44 helped Nottinghamshire to dismiss Yorkshire for 181 at Middlesbrough.

Worcestershire's 398 for 6 against Middlesex, their highest total of the season, was based around 117 by Tim Curtis and Tom Moody's 83.
