Laurent Jalabert, the world No 1, will start the Milan-San Remo classic tomorrow with a knee injury sustained in winning the Paris-Nice race a week ago. Jalabert is hoping to become the first rider to win consecutive races since his fellow Frenchman Laurent Fignon in 1989.
