Exhibition: Motor Racing Show - Earls Court

The Daily Express Motor Racing Show at Earls Court this weekend offers a feast of racing machines, past and present. To celebrate Nigel Mansell's achievement of bringing the Formula One world driver's championship back to Britain, the show pays tribute to British Formula One champions with a line-up of winning cars that have survived. On show are Mike Hawthorn's 1958 Ferrari, Graham Hill's BRM from 1962 and Lotus from 1968, the 1963 Lotus of Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart's Tyrrell from 1973 and the 1976 McLaren of James Hunt. Mansell is in Phoenix, Arizona, still testing for the IndyCar circuit, but his team, Newman/Haas, has sent over a fearsome Lola. The '92 Champions display has winning cars from Formula Ford, Formula Three, production and classic saloon championships. The sportscar racing section features the Jaguar XJ220, the LotusSport 300 and the Venturi Trophy 400.
