Bob Houghton, the former Bristol City manager, has been sacked as coach by the Swiss First Division club, Zurich, after the club's recent poor results.

Ronny Rosenthal, the Tottenham striker, has been named in Israel's 20- man squad for next week's European Championship qualifier against France in Tel Aviv.
