Football Trust officials fear that a 35 per cent loss of income due to competition from the National Lottery could affect their ability to fully implement the Taylor Report recommendations. The Trust, which has received pounds 250m from the pools companies since its foundation 20 years ago, has seen its income fall from around pounds 37m to pounds 23.5m during the last year.
