Aston Villa v Everton

Villa's Parker (rib) is unavailable. Barrett or Breitkreutz will be drafted into midfield. Regis and Yorke are available for Atkinson (stomach strain). Everton's midfielder Kenny and striker Rideout have failed fitness tests. Kearton deputises for suspended goalkeeper Southall.

Liverpool v Ipswich Town

Liverpool field an unchanged the side with Redknapp retaining his place. Ipswich will turn to Goddard if Kiwomya (thigh) remains unfit. Bozinski stands by for the doubtful midfielder Johnson (back).

Manchester Utd v Southampton

Cantona returns from World Cup duty for United. Kanchelskis is likely to step down. Southampton's Dutch defender, Monkou (hamstring injury), could be fit, but midfielders Cockerill and Groves are out. Hurlock is serving a five-match ban.

Middlesbrough v Nottingham F

Kamara, on loan from Luton Town, is included in the Middlesbrough squad along with Wilkinson, who returns after injury. Defender Armstrong makes his Premier League debut for Forest because captain Pearce and Williams are ruled out along with Webb (Achilles tendon) and the suspended Laws.

Norwich City v Manchester City

England Under-21 striker Sutton is returns after tonsillitis and has a half- chance of playing for Norwich. Manchester have injury problems and Simpson starts a two-match ban. Curle (groin), Phelan (hamstring), Quinn (knee) and White (ankle) face tests, but Hill is back after a hernia operation.

Oldham Athletic v Arsenal

Jobson (suspension) returns for Oldham and Halle (sore toe) also plays, but midfielder Bernard (calf) is out. Arsenal strikers Wright (groin) and Smith (twisted ankle) are doubtful. Campbell stands by while defender Morrow is the likely replacement for suspended left-back Winterburn.

QPR v Coventry City

Maddix (flu) faces a late fitness check along with defender Bardsley (ankle), Brevett (dead leg) and Barker (back) for Queen's Park Rangers, who include Witter, Reddy and McCarthy in a 17-man squad. Coventry's Robson returns as substitute after 10 weeks out injured.

Sheffield Wed v Crystal Palace

Hirst, Wednesday's England striker, has suffered a recurrence of thigh trouble. Left-back King, fit after a knee ligament injury, could replace Harkes (thigh). England midfielder Thomas (flu) is a Palace doubt. Southgate and striker Williams, fit after knee trouble, are included in a squad of 15.

Tottenham v Leeds United

Barmby will again partner Sheringham in the Tottenham attack. Cundy, Sedgley and Nayim, returning from injury, are available, although Durie remains on the sidelines. Strachan (calf) and defender Wetherall (groin) have reported fit for Leeds, but striker Shutt has lung and rib injuries, and defender Fairclough (groin) also misses the match.

Wimbledon v Sheffield United

Burton takes charge of Wimbledon today and decides whether to recall defender Blackwell (groin) after a midweek reserve game. Sanchez is also available after suspension. Sheffield United midfielder Gannon could face his former team-mates as Hartfield is banned after being sent off in a reserve game. Rogers is the other possible replacement.

Blackburn Rovers v Chelsea

Blackburn defender Wright has recovered from a stomach strain allowing Dalglish to name an unchanged team. Chelsea's new manager Webb promises a few selection surprises as he attempts to end the club's run of 12 games without a win. Townsend could play after back trouble, Lee hopes to shrug off a virus.
