You can't help but feel sorry for Burnley, who looked to have done enough for their first points at home this season, but it wasn't to be. It's now seven consecutive home defeats for Kompany’s side who remain rooted to the table, while West Ham end their league run of three away matches without victory. Burnley will have the chance to quickly put their home form right when they welcome Sheffield United next weekend, while West Ham turn their attention to Europe and travel to Serbia to face TSC Backa Topola on Thursday.
