Ballack fined for leading chants
The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Michael Ballack was fined €8,000 (£7,060) yesterday for unsportsmanlike behaviour after he led anti-Cologne chants.
The former Chelsea player was caught on tape standing in front of Leverkusen fans following their game against Schalke 04 last month, holding a bullhorn and leading them in their chants directed against rivals Cologne.
