Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has signed his five-year-contract with Bayern Munich.
Bayern says the deal was completed after Neuer passed a medical exam. Neuer arrived in Munich early Wednesday after playing for Germany in Azerbaijan. Germany won the European Championship qualifier 3-1.
Neuer's transfer from Schalke to Bayern was announced last week.
Neuer says he decided to join Bayern "because I am the Germany goalkeeper and Bayern is the best club in Germany."
The 25-year-old 'keeper says he never considered going abroad.
