Cristiano Ronaldo likes to think of himself as the main-man at Real Madrid, and it appears that Chinese football fans very much agree.

The Spanish club are currently on tour in China but despite boasting world-class star names like Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and James Rodriguez, the local fans only appear to be interested in one player.

It became apparent that was the case as soon as Real Madrid touched down for the Far East leg of their pre-season tour. Walking through arrivals at the airport, the awaiting fans were somewhat muted as the likes of Sergio Ramos and Isco passed through.

But the arrival of Ronaldo sent everyone wild (watch below).

Things continued before Monday's International Champions Cup game against Inter Milan in Guangzhou. Each player was assigned a mascot but the cheeky youngsters ditched their allotted players to flock to CR7.

Cristiano Ronaldo (and Real Madrid) is next in action in China on Thursday, when the Spanish outfit play AC Milan.
