Hernan Crespo has confirmed he will definitely leave Internazionale at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old Argentinian struck a vital equaliser during Sunday's 3-3 draw with AS Roma, but having been overlooked for the majority of the season by coach Jose Mourinho, is determined to leave the San Siro in the summer.

“After a difficult year, it's great to have scored such an important goal,” he said.

“Things don't happen out of coincidence, that goal is the result of my daily hard work. But in June, without a doubt, I will change teams.

“At this point it has become clear to me that this is the only solution as facts speak louder than words.”

AS Roma captain Francesco Totti is not facing another lengthy spell on the sidelines after scans on his right knee revealed no major problem.

Totti, whose campaign has been blighted by a succession of injuries, missed Sunday's 3-3 draw with Internazionale after pulling up in training last week with knee pain.

But Roma now hope to have their inspirational leader back for next week's Champions league last 16 second leg meeting with Arsenal at the Stadio Olimpico.

It was feared that the veteran playmaker's season could be over with further ligament damage.

“Francesco Totti has undergone scans on his right knee. The player will have therapy over the next few days and then he will follow a specific training programme,” read a club statement.
