The perma-angry former Chelsea striker was sent off 69 minutes into his La Liga return against Getafe in a crazy, six-minute spell.
The 29-year-old scored in his first league game back to double Atleti's lead but picked up a second yellow for jumping into the crowd at the Vicente Calderon and received his marching order.
He had only been booked six minutes previously for an elbow on Getafe's Djene but momentarily appeared to forget he was on a yellow card after he doubled the home side's lead.

It was perhaps a bit harsh as he didn't actually enter the crowd, stopping before a barrier after walking up some steps that for some reason are behind the goal.
It was his second goal after returning, having scored in a Copa del Rey game at Lleida Esportiu on Wednesday.

He hasn't played a single minute for the Blues this campaign and spent most of his time back home in Brazil waiting to be able to complete his £57m move back to Atletico.
He won the Premier League twice during his three years at Stamford Bridge, scoring 59 goals, but was best remembered for his angry outbursts on the pitch and clashes with oppositions players.
His last game for Chelsea was the 2017 FA Cup final where he scored a late equaliser only for Aaron Ramsey to win it for the Gunners three minutes later.
