Zlatan Ibrahimovic set Milan on their way last night as they beat Cagliari 3-0 at San Siro to bring the gap to Serie A leaders Juventus back to one point.
Ibrahimovic opened the scoring with a curling free-kick into the top left-hand corner of the Cagliari goal in the 32nd minute. Midfielder Antonio Nocerino soon made it 2-0, firing home a neat Ibrahimovic lay-off from the edge of the penalty area and Massimo Ambrosini came off the bench to wrap up victory with the third with 15 minutes to go.
Juventus beat third-placed Udinese 2-1 on Saturday, while Lazio moved up to fourth with a 3-0 win at Chievo yesterday, Miroslav Klose scoring twice.
