Anyone who has lost a phone can testify what a nightmare it is. But for one Liverpool fan it turned into a dream scenario on a fairytale night at Anfield.

The supporter lost their mobile device amid the celebrations around Dejan Lovren's late goal, which completed a truly remarkable comeback by the Reds against Borussia Dortmund.

After the first-leg in Germany ended 1-1, Liverpool fell behind to two early goals at Anfield. Divock Origi pulled one back but then Marco Reus opened up the gap again, meaning Liverpool needed three goals to advance to the Europa League semi-final. Incredibly, they did it.

Philippe Coutinho scored first before Mohamed Sakho and then Lovren in injury time.

It was during the celebrations for the latter that Liverpool fan Liamie Marum lost his phone, with the device ending up on the pitch.

Soon after it was returned by a security guard - with an incredible addition. As some eagle eyed viewers watching at home noticed, during the joyous scenes after Lovren's goal Sakho picked up a phone and took a selfie with Origi. Turns out, it was the lost phone on which he took it.

Revealing the story on Facebook, Mr Marum wrote: "Well what can I say but unbelievable."

Liverpool are due to find out their semi-final opponents shortly. Follow the draw live.
