However, the Greek champions will by no means roll over, particularly at home.

But could tonight see another one?
We've picked 10 things that the Red Devils need to be wary of in tonight's fixture.

Roberto To put it plainly, Olympiakos do not concede a lot of goals. This, in part, is down to Roberto - their Spanish shot-stopper on loan from Atletico Madrid. He has kept 20 clean sheets in his 31 appearances for the Greek side so far this season, and has let in just nine goals in the Greek Super League. If Rooney, van Persie and co. are not on top form, it would not be surprising if Roberto kept yet another clean sheet.

Olympiakos v Manchester United: 10 reasons why United should fear tonight's Champions League opponents 2. Olympiakos' league form Olympiakos have not lost many games in the league this season... in fact, they haven't lost ANY games in the league this season. They have played 26, winning 24 and drawing just two. Their only two losses in this campaign came against PSG in the Champions League, and although you could argue that it was their only opponent with any pedigree, it's still quite a feat. They are 20 points clear at the top of the Greek Super League, and with that title all but wrapped up, their sole focus will be on getting to the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time in their history.

Michael Olaitan Michael Olaitan is an exciting, young forward that has a habit of finding the back of the net. At just 21-years-old, he has a bright future ahead of him and has impressed in his first season in Greece. He's played 17 times this term, and has scored eight goals; not a mean feat considering a number of those appearances were off the bench. His most notable performance of the season was against Veroia at the beginning of February, where he scored a brace after coming on for the final half an hour. Watch out for his squad number too - he wears 99.

Olympiakos v Manchester United: 10 reasons why United should fear tonight's Champions League opponents 4. Michel Manchester United recently signed a player for £37m, a player who has been tasked with turning their season around and helping them clamber up the league to a respectable position... a player called Juan Mata. And the man that originally found him as a youngster at Real Madrid? The Olympiakos coach Michel. He was, at the time, coaching Real Madrid's second team when he asked to fast-track the then 18-year old midfielder. The rest, as they say, is history. Michel will be facing English opposition for only the second time in his career. His one previous meeting came as a player, when he was in the Real Madrid side that beat Tottenham Hotspur in the Uefa Cup quarter-finals, 1-0 on aggregrate. He will be hoping for a similar result against the Red Devils.

Joel Campbell This Costa Rican will be a familiar name to some in North London, as he is on loan at Olympiakos from Arsenal. He sees his future in England, and will want to impress enough on Wednesday to warrant a return to these shores. A young, 21-year-old wide midfielder, Campbell enjoyed loan spells in France and Spain before his time in the Greek Super League, and has scored seven times in his 27 appearances so far this season.

Olympiakos v Manchester United: 10 reasons why United should fear tonight's Champions League opponents 6. Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium The home of Olympiakos... their fortress. Holding just over 33,000 fans, of which only 1806 will be United fans on Wednesday, they make a lot of noise, and have recently been in trouble for their use of flares, fireworks and lasers. They will step it up a gear for Champions League night, although the lower tier of the north stand will be closed as punishment, after Uefa saw evidence of racist chanting during the team's final group stage match against Anderlecht.

Kostas Manolas This is the first time Manolas will face English opposition, but it may not be the last if he secures a move to the Premier League. Some British newspapers are reporting that should Fabricio Coloccini leave Newcastle in the summer, Alan Pardew has lined up a move for the Olympiakos defender, while Fulham, Tottenham and Sunderland are all rumoured to have enquired about his services. For now though, he is plying his trade in Greece, and has played a vital role at the heart of Olympiakos' defence so far this season.

Olympiakos v Manchester United: 10 reasons why United should fear tonight's Champions League opponents 8. United's season so far It hasn't exactly been the perfect start for David Moyes at Manchester United. Despite a relatively straightforward win against Crystal Palace on Saturday evening, the Red Devils currently sit sixth in the Premier League - five points from the Europa League and a near-impossible 11 points from the holy grail of the Champions League. They have dropped points against teams that, on paper, they shouldn't have - Stoke and Cardiff to name two - and if Olympiakos are at the top of their game, don't be too surprised if the Greek side get a result on home soil.

Olympiakos v Manchester United: 10 reasons why United should fear tonight's Champions League opponents 9. Marko Scepovic Serbian striker Marko Scepovic joined Olympiakos in September 2013, and until last weekend was yet to make his mark on the Greek Super League. Javier Saviola, until now, has been the side's main striker, but when he came off injured in the 33rd minute against OFI Crete on Saturday, Scepovic made his mark instantly by scoring a hat-trick. It was the first of his career, but at only 22 it surely won't be his last. Olympiakos will miss Saviola, as well as Kostas Mitroglu, who scored 21 goals in 24 before his January move to Fulham, but it is now up to Scepovic to step to the fore.

Olympiakos v Manchester United: 10 reasons why United should fear tonight's Champions League opponents 10. United's impeccable record against Greek sides Manchester United have never lost against a Greek side in the Champions League, but that record can't last forever... can it? They've faced Olympiakos four times, and won all four. They've faced Panathinaikos four times, winning three and drawing one. It's a record that David Moyes will want to keep going, and it's a record that they should keep going. However, this has been a season that
unwanted records have been broken at United, including numerous teams recording their first wins over the Red Devils for many, many years. Can Olympiakos join them?
