Round-Up: Beckham joins the 100 club as Real romp to 4-1 victory
David Beckham made his 100th Champions' League appearance last night after coming on as a substitute in Real Madrid's 4-1 victory over Steaua Bucharest in Group E.
The former England captain is only the third player to reach the milestone, behind team-mates Raul and Roberto Carlos.
Sergio Ramos' eighth-minute header was followed by a goal for Raul in the 34th minute after Ruud van Nistelrooy's shot was parried. Robinho put the Spanish club further ahead before the hosts pulled one back through Valentin Badea.
Beckham then replaced Guti before former Manchester United team-mate Van Nistelrooy restored the three-goal lead with a lob his 50th European Cup goal.
But Lyon retained their 100 per cent record and top spot in the group with a 3-0 victory over Dynamo Kiev. Juninho Pernambucano opened the scoring with a 25-yard shot in the 30th minute, eight minutes later Kim Kallstrom extended the lead and Florent Malouda sealed victory.
Ten-man Milan consolidated top spot in Group H with a 1-0 victory over Anderlecht. Kaka's long-range shot sealed the points after Daniele Bonera had been dismissed for a second bookable offence.
Porto beat Hamburg 4-1, with the former Tottenham striker Helder Postiga on the scoresheet.
