Welcome to The Independent's live coverage of today's FA Cup third round ties.

It's the one weekend where English football traditionally turns on it head. Part-time plumbers and postmen come up against the professionals and the boys from the big leagues don't always get their way.

Exeter City earned a replay against Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp's kindergarten last night, drawing 2-2 in a good old-fashioned cup tie. Can one of the unfancied lower league sides go one better today and claim a big scalp?

Wycombe Wanderers may fancy their chances in today's early game as they welcome the top flight's bottom club, Aston Villa, to Adams Park.

The Chairboys went on a famous giant-killing run fifteen years ago, all the way to the semi-finals, where they were knocked out by eventual winners Liverpool. Could they recreate some of that magic today?

We'll have updates from all 26 third round ties.
