Hull may have been relegated from the Premier League, face uncertainty over their name once again and face the prospect of winger Robbie Brady joining Norwich, but there’s a real reason to be cheerful at for Tigers’ fans.

That’s because the club have announced their new shirt sponsor for the 2015/16 season, and it’s none other than Flamingo Land.

The Yorkshire resort may not be the most well-known sponsor in the Football League, but a glimpse at their website will have Hull fans booking their next visit immediately. With a theme park, zoo and special guests such as Pepper Pig and George, what’s not to like?

Joking aside, there’s plenty to do for young Hull fans should they wish to take advantage of the new partnership, with animal experiences ranging from penguin, lemur and giraffe encounters while there are also rides that all of the family can enjoy.

But Hull will pay little attention to matters at the theme park this season as they look to pounce back immediately and gain promotion to the Premier league – a feat much easier said than done.

Last season, Championship favourite’s Norwich nearly missed out on an instant return to the top flight as they required promotion through the play-offs to restore their Premier League status, but hopes at the KC Stadium are high that the club are in a good position to launch a promotion attack.
