The Championship

Charlton Athletic The Addicks have completed the loan signing of Chelsea midfielder Scott Sinclair until the end of the campaign. "I'm really excited to be here," Sinclair said. "I've come here to get experience. I want to keep playing and get goals." The 18-year-old enjoyed loan spells with Plymouth and Queen's Park Rangers last year and could make his debut at Sheffield United tomorrow.

Scunthorpe United The chairman Steve Wharton has told supporters there is a "50/50 chance" the Iron will move to a new £20m ground. "The council have until the end of April to decide what their preferred option is for applications," he said at a fans forum.

Leicester City The former England international Lee Hendrie has joined the Foxes on loan until the end of the season from rivals Sheffield United. The midfielder could go straight into Ian Holloway's squad to face Cardiff tomorrow. "He can play wide left, centre midfield and wide right," Holloway said. "I am looking forward to working with him."

Southampton Defender Claus Lundekvam may have played his last game after suffering a recurrence of a long-standing ankle injury. The Norwegian was close to a return but broke down in training this week. "I was doing a routine running test when without warning the ankle collapsed," he said.

Stoke City Tony Pulis has been named Manager of the Month after winning five games out of six as the Potters top the table.

League One

Huddersfield Town Terriers manager Andy Ritchie has agreed to let midfielder Danny Schofield leave the club. "It's not a transfer request – he just feels he needs a new challenge," Ritchie said. "We have circulated his name and he may go out on loan or get a permanent move at the end of the season. He's been a fantastic servant and ambassador."

Carlisle United Striker Joe Garner will see a knee specialist this week after scans revealed cruciate ligament damage. The 19-year-old forward suffered the injury against Crewe on Tuesday and manager Joe Ward fears a long lay-off. "Worst case scenario, Joe could be ruled out for up to nine months," he said.

Leeds United Republic of Ireland international Stephen O'Halloran has moved to Elland Road on a month's loan from Aston Villa.

League Two

Barnet Bees manager Paul Fairclough has made enquiries about signing Charlton striker Izale Mcleod on loan. Mcleod scored 24 goals for Milton Keynes Dons last season but has managed just one goal after moving to The Valley last summer. "We are actively pursuing the matter. It's obvious to everyone we need a striker," Fairclough said. "But I won't smash our wage structure to smithereens."

Notts County The Peterborough striker Danny Crow hopes to make his loan spell at Meadow Lane permanent. "I don't think my face fits there to be honest," he said of his parent club. "I have been training and not playing, but that isn't doing anything for my career."

Darlington The 20-year-old defender Ben Parker has joined the Quakers on a month's loan from League One side Leeds United.
