BBC Sport accused of 'anti-semitism' after Kike Tweet
'Two Kikes... there's only two Kikes. And now they both play for #Boro'
A number of followers of BBC Sport on Twitter accused the broadcaster of "anti-semitism".
The Tweet, linking to a news story about Middlesbrough signing Enrique Sola - nickname Kike - read "Two Kikes... there's only two Kikes. And now they both play for #Boro".
Sola joins striker Kike - full name Enrique Garcia Martinez (above) - at the Riverside Stadium.
The two names are pronounced key-kay rather than kike, an extremely offensive anti-semitic slur.
However, BBC Sport's Twitter feed received a number of responses to claiming the feed had used offensive language, while others defended the BBC.
At the time of writing the BBC had not deleted the Tweet
