Manchester City defender Micah Richards has apologised for this abysmal penalty (see below), during City’s shoot-out defeat by Olympiakos in America last night, after the match ended 2-2.

The 26-year-old decided to channel his inner-Chris Waddle, and sprinted up to the ball before lashing it into orbit from 12-yards.
