The Football Association has given Chelsea’s assistant manager Rui Faria a six-match stadium ban for misconduct on the touchline.
During Chelsea’s loss to Sunderland 13 days ago, the FA said Faria used “abuse and/or insulting words” towards the fourth official.
The Portuguese also admitted to improper conduct over his behaviour when ordered by the referee to leave the technical area. The FA’s independent regulatory commission fined Faria £30,000 and warned him about his future conduct.
