Overall, it's been a good season, and a step in the right direction both on and off the pitch.

Things went horribly astray in January but thankfully we managed to recover, in some style, and almost made it a perfect end to the season. Ultimately we end trophy-less but to have been 'in with a shout' with two games remaining is a huge step forward. It's been picked up by most already, but had Fernando Torres and Steve Gerrard been fit for even half as much as they were, then this season could well have been a glorious one.

Which team were your best opponents?

Tough question, we struggled against the lower half of the table this season; we failed to score against Stoke so arguably they were our 'toughest'. Best were maybe Atletico Madrid, Maxi's goal at Anfield was class.

Who would you most like your team to sign this summer?

A top class attacking midfielder, to play on the left side to compliment Gerrard and Dirk Kuyt behind Torres. Plus a new right-back.

What was the weirdest/funniest moment of your season?

Pepe Reina's goal celebrations on numerous occasions! Definitely one of the livelier characters in the squad!

Mark out of 10 for the season?
