Supporters review of the season: Portsmouth

Supporting Pompey has always been a rollercoaster and this season has been no different, albeit with more downs than ups.

Harry Redknapp ditched us (again) and our form spiralled when he was replaced with the inept Tony Adams, although he was forced to sell our two best players in Jermain Defoe and Lassana Diarra. Paul Hart and Brian Kidd have done well to get us limping over the line by playing some utterly boring football but a relegation battle wasn't what I was expecting after the FA Cup triumph last year. Too many players have underperformed at stages during the season and we have conceded far too many late goals. I'm sure if football matches only lasted 80 minutes then we'd be challenging for Europe which was a fantastic experience this season.

Which team were your best opponents?

Chelsea ripped us apart twice earlier in the season so I'd have to go for them.

Who would you most like your team to sign this summer?

Seeing as Redknapp has been linked to virtually every one of our good players, perhaps we could exchange Niko Kranjcar for Darren Bent? He'd be the perfect strike partner for Peter Crouch who can't play up front on his own.

What was the weirdest/funniest moment of your season?

Getting Portuguese students to sing "Stand up if you hate the Scum!" had me in stitches when Pompey fans invaded Guimaraes.

Mark out of 10 for the season?

4 - After the FA Cup triumph last year I did not expect a relegation battle this season. I'm dreading next season already!
