Arsene Wenger celebrates his 18th anniversary as Arsenal manager today.

The then-unknown Frenchman took over at the Gunners on 1 October 1996, replacing Bruce Rioch, and has since won 13 major honours at the club.

The manager has gone down in Gunners' folklore as their greatest manager, who has made some incredible signings - Henry from Juventus, Vieira from AC Milan, Ramsey from Cardiff.

However, it has not been all plain sailing in the transfer market. Who could forget Francis Jeffers, Igors Stepanovs, or Andre Santos.

The Gunners take on Galatasaray in the Champions League tonight, hoping to celebrate Wenger's anniversary in winning fashion.
