Arsenal players in dark over future of Robin van Persie
Monday 09 July 2012
Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey said yesterday that he and his team-mates do not know if the striker Robin van Persie will play for the club next season.
The Dutchman last week issued a carefully-worded statement in which he said he would not sign an extension to his current deal with Arsenal, which expires next summer.
"I don't know and we as players don't know what is happening so we will just have to wait to see what happens," said Ramsey, who welcomed the signings of Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski. "They are great additions to the squad," he added.
