Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski achieves one of his life goals - meeting Miley Cyrus
Pair met backstage at German TV show Wettern Dass
He may have been crowned the best young player at the 2006 World Cup, and won the Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich in 2008, but it now appears that Lukas Podolski has finally achieved the one goal he wanted in life – meeting raunchy American pop star Miley Cyrus.
The Arsenal forward is currently recovering from injury after 'twerking' his hamstring, and aims to return before the end of the year. He met Cyrus backstage at the bizarre German TV show Wettern Dass.
Posting a picture of the pair on his Instagram page, the joyous Podolski wrote “Meet Miley Cyrus? I did it.”
It seems the 28-year-old has been using his time getting back to full fitness wisely; he was also pictured at the ATP World Tour Finals at the O2 Arena with team-mate Per Mertesacker last week.
He will now hope to go on and achieve another of his life goals before the end of this season, win a trophy with Arsenal.
