Goal!

Southampton 1-0 Everton

An adventurous run from Nathan Redmond and a first time pass to Dusan Tadic splits open Everton and he taps the ball around Jordan Pickford and into the net. Very nice move and a deserved goal.

Fantasy Watch

No Mesut Ozil may frustrate a few fantasy mangers. But plenty of people, myself included, will be hoping Stephan Ward puts in another top performance.

Fairly grim conditions at Turf Moor. A further test of character for Arsenal who are often frail when presented with such tests.

Southampton vs Everton

Things are going for bad to worse for Everton as Leighton Baines is forced off with an injury. Ashley Williams is his replacement.

Lee Mason blows his whistle for the first time and the game is underway. Up for grabs, a spot in the top four.

1: Burnley have made their game plan very obvious from the start. Long balls from the back to Ashley Barnes seems to be plan A. Ben Mee fires a long pass to the striker who beats Shkodran Mustafi in the air to nod to Jeff Hendrick who is offside.

5: Burnley have a free kick from a deep are and clip a cross into the box which Arsenal just about deal with. The Clarets win back possession and Johan Berg Gudmundsson looks to find Ashley Barnes in the middle but his cross goes out for a goal kick. Burnley the much better side.

10: Arsenal have settled down and are having a little more joy on the ball but Burnley still look very comfortable. This game has Arsenal Fan TV meltdown written all over it.

13: Arsenal knock the ball about a bit but Alexandre Lacazette is caught offside high up the pitch. That tells you how much Burnley are pressing Arsenal.
