Guus Hiddink and Louis van Gaal have both named unchanged line-ups as Chelsea entertain Manchester United at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

Eden Hazard remains on the substitutes’ bench for the defending champions, despite their failure to break the deadlock at Watford on Wednesday. John Terry retains his place in central defence despite questions remaining over his long-term future.

Van Gaal has kept faith in the team that convincingly dispatched Stoke City in midweek. The under-pressure Dutchman saw his side put in one of their best performances this season, beating Mark Hughes’ men 3-1 with a more direct and adventurous style of play.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson continues at left-back after impressing in recent weeks and Marouane Fellaini partners Michael Carrick at the base of midfield, with Morgan Schneiderlin named among the substitutes.

Juan Mata, who impressed in the victory over the Potters, faces his former club and will operate behind striker Wayne Rooney.
