Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi was jubilant in victory last night after scoring the winning goal at West Brom that secured the Blues their first Premier League title under Antonio Conte.

Taking to social media, the Belgian striker posted a photo of himself celebrating his goal with the caption: “Don't worry I got this yall. God loves unexpected heroes Very happy tonight enjoy the title FAM !!!! #NeverSurrender”

Batshuayi arrived from Marseille for £33m last summer but has struggled to make a lasting impression at the club this season.

The 23-year-old has yet to start for the Blues this term and prior to Friday night had scored just once for the side.

But that didn’t stop the Belgian enjoying his big moment last night as he soaked up the atmosphere following the final whistle at The Hawthorns.

Gary Cahill said of the striker after the match: “I’m delighted for Michy, we’ve been together as a group all season, that’s what got us to where we are,” he told Chelsea’s official website.

“Michy hasn’t played as much football as he would want but to score the winner is great for him.”

Chelsea have won six top flight championships in England and now turn their sights to the FA Cup final and the domestic Double.
