Alan Pardew makes just one change for Crystal Palace’s Premier League clash against Watford as he recalls fit-again striker Connor Wickham, with Lee Chung-yong dropping to the substitutes’ bench to make way for the Englishman.

Palace are looking to record their first Premier League victory since the 2-1 win at Stoke on 19 December, and will hope to build on last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Swansea.

Watford meanwhile will hope to bounce back from the 1-0 defeat by Tottenham last weekend, and manager Quique Sanchez Flores makes four changes with Troy Deeney recovered from a hamstring injury to return to the starting line-up.

Miguel Britos misses out through injury so Sebastian Prodl starts alongside Craig Cathcart in defence, while Valon Behrami comes into midfield at the expense of Mario Suarez. Nordin Amrabat replaces Almen Abdi, while Deenye replaces Jose Manuel Jurado to join Odion Ighalo in attack.

Teams

Crystal Palace: Hennessey; Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare; Zaha, Jedinak (c), Cabaye, Mutch; Wickham, Adebayor.

Subs: Speroni, Kelly, Mariappa, Boateng, Lee, Chamakh, Campbell.

Watford: Gomes; Nyom, Prödl, Cathcart, Ake; Behrami, Watson, Capoue; Amrabat, Deeney (c); Ighalo.

Subs: Pantilimon, Suarez, Paredes, Guedioura, Anya, Abdi, Holebas.
