England goalkeeper drops to the bench in place of Willy Caballero

Manuel Pellegrini has made a shock move to drop England keeper Joe Hart in favour of Willy Caballero.

Hart was at fault for Mame Biram Diouf's winner when Stoke beat City last week but performed well in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea.

Cabellero started in the Capital One Cup against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek and Pellegrini has opted to keep him in goal and drop Hart to the bench.

Pellegrini mkaes just one other change with Gael Clichy coming in for Aleksandar Kolarov.

Steve Bruce makes just one change to the team that drew 2-2 at St James' Park, with Liam Rosenior replacing Steven Quinn, who is injured.

Line-ups:

Manchester City: Caballero, Zabaleta, Kompany, Mangala, Clichy, Milner, Fernandinho, Yaya Toure, Silva, Aguero, Dzeko

Subs: Hart, Sagna, Kolarov, Navas, Lampard, Pozo, Demichelis

Hull City: McGregor, Rosenior, Davies, Huddlestone, Hernandez, Livermore, Diame, Jelavic, Dawson, Robertson, Elmohamady.

Subs: Harper, Bruce, Chester, Meyler, Brady, Ramirez, Ben Arfa.
