Liverpool vice-captain Jordan Henderson is a doubt for the Crystal Palace game on Sunday after missing England's match against Scotland because of a hamstring injury.

The midfielder, 24, was left out of the team by Roy Hodgson and will be assessed by Liverpool's medical staff at some point today.

“Jordan has a slight hamstring problem,” Hodgson said.

“It’s very minor. He wanted to play but I didn’t want to take the risk.”

Brendan Rodgers has also seen Daniel Sturridge suffer another injury setback when he pulled out of training on Monday.

He too is due to be assessed today.
