There was an awkward moment in the Stamford Bridge tunnel after Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Chelsea when Juan Mata presented Jesse Lingard with the man-of-the-match award, only to have to take it back as he had won the award himself.

Sky Sports reporter Geoff Shreeves was to blame for the mix-up when after interviewing the pair he gave Mata the man-of-the-match trophy and asked him to present it to Lingard.

Shreeves almost immediately recognised his error and explained that Mata should have been the recipient of the gong.

"I've got it completely wrong, it's yours", said the Sky Sports man.

The awkward moment followed a frustrating end to the match for Manchester United who led through Lingard's fiercely taken goal only to give away an equaliser in injury time when Diego Costa scored from close range.

The result left Manchester United six points adrift of the top four and 12 behind league leaders Leicester City.
