Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has handed Jamie Vardy the opportunity become the first Englishman to become the first Englishman to score in nine consecutive Premier League matches, naming him in his line-up to face Watford.

The England striker has been in red-hot form this season, scoring eleven goals to propel the Foxes to third in the table, and sits in front of Riyad Mahrez and Jeff Schlupp in an attacking system.

Danny Drinkwater and N’Golo Kante continue in midfield while Robert Huth and Wes Morgan provide cover at the back.

Quique Sanchez Flores, the Watford boss, hopes Odion Ighalo can upstage Vardy this afternoon, playing him alone in attack with Troy Deeney just behind. Ikechi Anya and Almen Abdi also start for the Hornets, who could climb into the top half.
